1973. Building Survey.
The school, measuring 7.3m (24 ft) by 5.5m (18 ft), has a stone on the east wall inscribed in Gothic lettering INFANTS' SCHOOL / MDCCCXLIX.
The structural history of the building is unclear. The walls are of English bond. Entrance is from the rear (south), though a patch on the north wall could be the scar of an original door. The east window has been blocked and the openings on the south appear to have been altered. The window, presumably original, is of three mullioned and transomed wooden lights; the adjacent two-leaf door has applied strips to give a Gothic panelled decoration.
The date of the doorway linking this school to the adjacent house (NHER 12086) is not known. It has been blocked.
See (S1) for further information.
A. Cattermole (King's Lynn UAD), 8 July 2019.

November 2010. Norfolk Rural Schools Survey.
All that remains of the school is a single room after the 1850s extensions were demolished. The building is currently used as a church office. (S2) states that this school was in use until 1908.
