Summary

This short length of railway was built by the King's Lynn Beet Sugar Company in 1927 to serve their factory at South Lynn (NHER 13755). This railway continued in use until 1993, and the track was lifted in 1994.

This is the route of a railway constructed by the King's Lynn Beet Sugar Factory to connect its factory (NHER 13755) to the main railway. It had a west-facing connection located immediately to the west of South Lynn station (NHER 62800). The line opened in April 1927, and rail traffic on this line ceased in 1993. The track was lifted in 1994. Outward goods included sugar, pulp and molasses with inward goods including machinery, coal, coke, limestone and beet, although beet ceased to be transported by rail in 1965.
