Full Description
Hedgerow suggesting boundary of park, noticed by R.R. Clarke (NCM).
See also Park Farm, now derelict, and moat (NHER 13038).
February 1978.
On south, the hedge itself is not very old but contains some trees: probable replanting.
E. Rose (NAU), 1 February 1978.
(S1) in file.
June/July 1991. NLA air photography.
Suggested park boundary visible on aerial photographs.
D. Edwards (NLA).
The southwest corner of the boundary as marked contains some very large oak trees clearly of great antiquity. The boundary has been preserved here where it passes between new ponds.
E. Rose (NLA), 22 January 2007.
