Summary

Part of a Neolithic chipped flint axehead was ploughed up in 1975, while metal-detecting between 2016 and 2022 recovered a Roman brooch; a Late Saxon silver Carolingian-style mount; a medieval buckle, rotary key and lead weight and a medieval/post-medieval furniture handle attachment stud.

Medieval buckle (S2), rotary key and lead weight.

The Late Saxon silver mount was declared Treasure at inquest (Ref: 2016 T828) and subsequently donated to Norwich Castle Museum [3]. The missing part of this object was found in 2022 (see below).
