Summary

The Mausoleum was built in 1793 by Joseph Bonomi, after the death of the second Earl of Buckinghamshire. The Mausoleum is a four sided stone pyramid, with a domed interior containing the burial chambers of members of the Hobart family.

Pyramid, with projecting rectangular doorway containing iron doors, and coat of arms above. Similar windows on sides and inscription plaque on rear surmounted by a bullock.
Interior in very poor condition. 8 coved recesses, three with tomb chests.
