Summary

Fieldwalking at this location in 1986 recovered a single possible prehistoric worked flint and a small number of Roman and medieval pottery sherds.

23 October 1986. Systematic Fieldwalking Survey.
Fenland Survey fieldwalking on site that included area of NHER 2278 and corner of field in West Winch parish (RCN AA). Well weathered soil and young cereal.
Odd medieval sherds and one possible worked flint (S1).
