Summary

In around 1923 a Neolithic flint axehead was found in Thorpe St Andrew. The limited information available suggests it was probably found in the grounds of the Rushcutters Inn (NHER 4761).

Found in Thorpe St Andrew, at 'The Gardens' - presumed to be a reference to the grounds of this pub (which had been known as 'Thorpe Gardens' around this time) [1].
1 Neolithic flaked flint axehead.
Later donated to the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1959.66).
