Summary

This two-storey former granary probably dates to the 18th century. It has flint and brick walls and pantile roofs with gable ends. Boundary walls extending along The Quay to either side of this range are of a similar age (see NHER 67160).

February 1979. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Probably 18th-century. Former granary. Flint and brick. Pantile roofs with gable ends; two storeys. The southernmost part has large modern garage opening on west side. The northern part is partly roofless (brick dentil eaves) and has gabled end facing road with modern oriel, and ground floor double doors; modern external stairs to first floor door on east side; appears to have been used as a summerhouse. Included for group value."

The listing for these buildings explicitly includes the boundary wall that runs westwards along The Quay from the north-west corner of the range. The boundary wall to the east was separately listed Grade II. See NHER 67160 for further details.
