Informant [1] told NCM that this was the site of an old mill, and also supplied the field names on the map.

April 1978. Visit.
There was never a watermill at this site, but there might have been a wind pump as there is a deep pool where the drain joined the river. The field names were checked against a map at the farm and found to be accurately copied on to (S1).
