Summary

This former rectory was built in the 17th century, with a cross wing added in c.1830. It has partly colour-washed walls of flint with brick dressings, a pantile roof and a central doorway with an early 19th-century pedimented doorcase. It was listed Grade II in 1987 and the listing description explicitly includes the attached garden gate and railings, which date to c.1830.

"House, formerly Rectory. 17th-century with cross wing of c.1830. Flint with brick dressings; colourwashed to front, pantile roof, hipped to right. Lobby entrance with central axial stack. Single range, four bays, two storeys. Central doorway with early 19th-century pedimented doorcase; irregular altered fenestration with late 20th-century casements. 1830 wing of two storeys and four bays, brick with hipped pantile roof, gable end stacks, no doorway; ground floor sashes with glazing bars, renewed late 20th century; first floor sashes. Attached garden gate and railings, c.1830, with open fleur de lys finials to bars".
