Full Description
1965. Stray find.
Found c. 400yrds [365m] north of Dairy Farm at approximately [1]:
1 Mesolithic tranchet axehead or pick. Triangular section, tranchet blow at cutting edge. See drawing (S1). Information from (S2). This find is also listed in (S3).

Mapped extent of record extended to whole of what is now a single large field. Previously mapped as point at [1].

October 2007. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Norwich Northern Distributor Road (Field 58).
Finds recovered included:
58 prehistoric worked flints.
7 ?prehistoric burnt flints.
6 post-medieval pottery sherds, 1 ceramic building material fragment, 1 clay tobacco pipe fragment and 1 copper alloy button.
1 undatable lead spindle whorl, 2 lead weights, 1 lead ?weight/bar and 2 lead waste fragments.
1 modern military cap badge.
It is noted that there was a slight concentration of prehistoric worked flint at the western end of the field.
