Summary

Investigation of the footings of a wall found a reused fragment of a stone shaft (perhaps a part of a column from a church), some fragments of medieval brick and pottery and some mortared flint. The wall is thought to be a post medieval field boundary.

Investigation of footings revealed re-used fragment of stone shaft (?ecclesiastical) fragments of medieval brick, mortared flint. Probably a post medieval field wall. A few medieval sherds found adjacent.
