Summary

This water mill is brick built, with a pantile roof, and has two sections. One section has a series of low double doors under lofts, presumably forming the granary, and the other has a metal undershot water wheel inside. A plaque on the mill reads: 'This mill was erected in a time of scarcity by voluntary subscription for the common benefit of the neighbourhood AD 1800'.

wheel inside, undershot. Overflow sluice round side of building. Plaque: 'This mill was erected in a time of scarcity by voluntary subscription for the common benefit of the neighbourhood AD 1800. Discite Justitiam moniti et non temnere leges'.
