Full Description
Watermill.
Brick built with pantile roof, in two sections; one with series of low double doors under lofts, the other with metal water
wheel inside, undershot. Overflow sluice round side of building. Plaque: 'This mill was erected in a time of scarcity by voluntary subscription for the common benefit of the neighbourhood AD 1800. Discite Justitiam moniti et non temnere leges'.

Note quotation is from Virgil with 'divos' altered to 'leges'. Detailed plans including very interesting machinery in NARG Building files.
