Before 1960. Sutton Staithe boat yard. ?Bronze Age shields, bronze dishes found and buried beneath concrete of slipway.

Previous to building of slipway this was an area of sawpits where wherries were lying about. Possibly originally found when sawpits dug; about a dozen.
