Full Description
1970. Stray Find.
Found on surface of field 200 yards [183m] north-west of Barton Farm (was Yalley Farm):
1 Mesolithic/Neolithic flint implement. Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1971.151).
Information from (S1).
Described in the museum's records as a small Mesolithic-Neolithic flint chopper. Not listed in (S2) so doubtful whether this object is Mesolithic. Accompanying notes suggest that it was identified as probably Neolithic by R. Jacobi.
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 9 June 2014.
