Full Description
Hill slope belonging to Littlewood House (Glenview on OS).
On 30m (100ft) contour, facing south. Said that 'an archaeology graduate from Cambridge' had identified site as Neolithic. Meadow has large areas where moss and not grass grows. Many rabbit holes produced large numbers of flints, but all natural - much starch and frost fracturing; only one waste flake, one pot boiler found. Many cockle shells.
E. Rose (NAU), 26 February 1976.
