Summary

Ploughing recovered a Neolithic polished flint axehead from the surface of a field in 1971. A second partly polished Neolithic axehead may also have been found here, and a possible Neolithic axe roughout was found by a farm worker in 2007.

A drawing of a second partly polished Neolithic flint axehead was found in the Secondary File. This has added annotations linking it to this site. There is no other record of a second axehead being found at this site.
