Listing grade II* 1986 states:
Heigham Holmes windpump. Mid 19th century. Tapering brick circular four storey tower. Opposing doors, one window on first and second floors. Two stocks, two clamps and remains of eight bay patent sails and striking gear. Cap frame, worm hangars and worm. Complete set of track and centering wheels, track and rack. Remains of fanstage, fan tackle and fan, Y-wheel and carrier. Cast iron windshaft. Two section square timber upright shaft with chamfered edges. Cast iron crownwheel. Bevel wheel to cast iron horizontal shaft. Internal turbine in casing. See (S2).
