1967. Stray Find.
Found on beach near path across dune:
1 Palaeolithic flint handaxe of iron stained flint with subsequent flakes removed (presumably by battering). Donated to Dover Museum. See sketch (S1).
Information from (S2).
This discovery was first reported in (S3) and is described in (S4) as ovate, Wymer Type K e/v and 15cm long. Also noted on (S5) and in (S6), (S7) and (S8) although no additional information is given.
