April 1960. 'Another area of black soil'.

28 June 1983. Fieldwalking in poor soil conditions.
Apparently no concentration of pottery in dark soil area, but general scatter; one handle, one jar rim, one bowl rim, two jug rims, eight sherds medieval unglazed. One base late medieval/transitional. One sherd post medieval stoneware.
