1975. In field southwest of Mill Cottages.
Seen in ripening barley then in stubble: patches of 'scaldy' ground about 1 acre in area, crossed by lines of dark soil about 1.5m (5ft) wide, enclosing rectangles 20' square not noticed before drought of this year.
Site seen by A. K. Gregory (NAU) 20 December 1975 - no finds.
