Full Description
1972. Context 1. Surface find in old pit adjacent to donor's garden.
Two stoneware gin/mineral water bottles stamped A.C.A.NOLET/SCHIEDAM.
T.Clough (NCM).
April 1997. Context 2. Collection of abraded sherds over whole area.
One small flint flake.
Base flint gritted Iron Age and one body sherd.
One body sherd with fine grits, ?Iron Age.
Roman grey: one dish rim, eleven body sherds.
Medieval unglazed: seventeen body sherds.
One body sherd with handle scar glazed medieval.
Three undatable unglazed sherds.
One body sherd oxidised micaceous, probably post medieval.
Finds NCM.
