?Possibly site of finds from 'The Battlefield' but more probably this was the Commandry site (NHER 8814).
R. R. Clarke (NCM).

(S1) names this field as Grass Roberts, owned by Sir W. Clayton tenanted by John Land. Name Battle Meadow does not appear in parish. See discussion under NHER 8814.
