Full Description
Icehouse.
July 1972. Listed Grade II.
December 1978. Field Observation.
Visited by E. Rose (NAU).
Listed as 18th century but entrance passage at least seems 19th century. Dome buried; unusually passage breaks into vault, not into side. Marks of inner and outer doors; now closed by wide-meshed grill. Deep chamber.

"Icehouse, now disused. Early 19th century. Brick. Brick tunnel-vaulted passage leads into subterranean conical shaft with domed brick roof. Second, blocked, opposing entrance."
