Summary

A medieval parish church dating mainly from the 13th and 15th centuries, but with some evidence of Norman work including a stoup and other reused fragments. The church was restored in 1880 when the east wall, the south porch and the ruined medieval vestry were rebuilt. The church was badly damaged by a fire in 1959 and was restored and re-roofed in 1962. Medieval floor tiles and roof tiles have been found in the churchyard.

Church with Norman fragments, east window about 1300, otherwise Perpendicular, of several builds throughout 15th century.
Restored and part rebuilt 1880.
Damaged by fire 1959.
