Full Description
Spooner Row Church.
Built as a school in 1843.
E. Rose (NAU). Information from record card (S1).
July 1972. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Chapel, built as school. By John Buckler. 1843. Brick with slate roof. Nave and small sanctuary to east. Six bays to north
and south flanks separated by stepped buttresses. Windows are single plain lancets under square hoods on label stops. Angle buttresses to east and west. West end with a plank and muntin door to right, two lancets above and a third in the apex of gable. Gabled roof. Low gabled sanctuary to east end."

Reference (S3) states this stands on the site of Holy Trinity Guildhall.

However, (S5) states that there is no evidence for John Buckler being the architect. The church now has the bell from Silfield Church, which is the only bell ever made by G. Day and Co. of Eye in 1915.
