'Another (fine barrow) in Cuffer Lane 1/4 mile of Castle'.

A farm on the site but the 'road still winds round' where the barrow stood.

Two mounds at TM 084 909 are probably upcast from recent adjacent pits.

This area was examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. It was possible to make out some evidence of a possible mound on aerial photographs (S3), centred on TM 0832 9087, although it was considered more likely to be a modern agricultural mound, and has not been mapped.
