February 1978. Norfolk Industrial Archaeology Society survey.
Brick kiln and works. Pug mill removed to Gressenhall 1979. Wash pit with horse operated 'harrows'; moulding and drying shed foundations.
Bricks stamped HEL 1964-88, EEL 1890, EHEL 1892-1937.
Kiln on Ordnance Survey (S1) may have had brick lining now removed.
In 1885 there was another kiln to northeast (S2), now in wood.
