Full Description
Pre 1924. Stray Find.
Found by H. H. Halls at unknown location in Bowthorpe area (finder's Site 9):
1 Palaeolithic flint flake and 1 core. Both ocherous in colour. Donated to Norwich Castle Museum
(NWHCM : 1924.83.9). Information from (S1).
These finds are listed in (S2) and noted on (S3). The flake is described in (S4) as stained and rolled. As Wymer notes in (S4), these finds were mostly likely recovered from a gravel extraction site near the River Yare.
