Full Description
1965. House site?
Chalky-clay soilmarks, medieval brick and mortared flints and sherds: greenglazed Grimston; greyware including 12th-14th century.
Also lava reused as building material.
Area of sand and shingle and line of big flints, some mortared.
Sand and shingle contained animal bones.
Also some post medieval sherds and possible Roman sherds; cobbled areas.
Plan NCM (Copy NCM card).
September 1979.
During excavation of site NHER 15296, to the west was found a spread of mortar, flint and late medieval early post medieval sherds, probable edge of this site.
