Summary

The cropmarks of a possible undated site have previously been recorded at this location, although the archaeological nature of these is uncertain. Low earthwork banks have also been identified.

Assessment of the above mentioned aerial photograph (S1) as part of the NMP project revealed no convincing features of archaeological origin at this location. Traces of possible low earthwork banks were detected on (S2), although the date and significance of these is not certain and may relate to post medieval to modern date features.
