Summary

Metal detecting here has recovered three Roman coins, a Roman brooch, a gold Viking period finger ring and a post medieval coin.

September 1993. Metal detecting rally.
One very early post medieval coin. See list in file.
Roman disc brooch 2nd century. Flat enamelled, with catchplate extending as a lug. Decorated with concentric rings of enamel, each divided into panels of blue, orange and red. See (S1).
