Summary

Cropmarks of a possible undated site can be seen on aerial photographs of this area, see NHER 52289-60 for other cropmarks recorded within this area. Metal detecting here has recovered Roman coins, a Roman brooch and a medieval strap end buckle.

For cropmarks recorded within this area see NHER 52259, for boundaries and enclosures of either Roman or medieval to post medieval date predating current field layout, and NHER 52260 fragmentary field boundaries, ditches and trackways of at least two phases of fields, probable later prehistoric to Roman date. It is not clear which of these sites, if any, the previously recorded cropmarks relate to.
