Summary

An old map shows a U-shaped cropmark here. Aerial photographs taken by the RAF in 1946 show that it appears to be part of a drainage ditch which once connected a pond to a dyke.

The feature appears on the 1946 RAF air photography (S1) and appears to be part of a drainage ditch, since removed, connecting a pond to a dyke though its semi-circular shape is unexplained.
