REPORTED DISCOVERIES

Pre 1907. Stray Find.
Tacolneston is listed in (S1) as one of the parishes that had produced Neolithic flint implements of "Boulder Clay Type" prior to 1907. The finder is recorded as a G. F. Steward. Information from (S2).

Pre 1948. Stray Find.
Found in Tacolneston by unknown individual "some years before" 1948:
1 Roman coin (Sestertius of ?Sabina).
Seen by R. R. Clarke in 1948. Information from (S3).
Previously recorded as NHER 9934.

Found by [1] at unknown location in Tacolneston:
1 Mesolithic flint pick. Unclaimed item accessioned by Norwich Castle Museum in 2001 (NWHCM : 2001.162). Originally brought in for identification in June 1978. No other details known.
