Summary

A 16th century timber framed house with a large stone or brick rendered fireplace. Fragments of jug handles from the 15th or 16th centuries have been found under the floor of the house.

Farm under restoration noted by chance. Long timber framed house 16th century, 2 storeys. Some long and low windows. Triple angled stack above roof towards south gable. At base of this in ground floor room has been revealed a very fine stone or brick rendered fireplace with niche above (seen only through window). Also in this room studding and an original blocked window revealed.
