Full Description
Before 1907. Stray Find.
According to record card (S1) Brundall is one of various places in Norfolk as having produced Neolithic flint implements of 'Boulder clay type' prior to 1907. These objects are recorded as being in the possession of C. Chambers, W. G. Clarke and G. Rye but their exact nature and provenance(s) are not given. This is presumably a reference to (S2).
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 16 February 2025.
1950s. Stray Find. [1].
Found at unknown location in Brundall parish during 1950s and reported in 2024:
Mayan Late Preclassic to Terminal Classic period chert Stemmed Macro Blade (S3).
Information from PAS import.
This South America artefact was recorded on the PAS due to its resemblance to a large barbed and tanged arrowhead.
P. Watkins (HES), 1 September 2024.
