Full Description
1880. Polished flint axe found in making railway cutting.
Reference in (S1),map sheet is wrong, and not in Norfolk Archaeology Indices. Old 6 inch map missing so cannot be checked. Sounds wrong because railway was built in about.1845.

No! The section of line from Brundall junction to Yarmouth via Acle was indeed not built until about 1880.
