Summary

Examination of aerial photographs in 1976 very tentatively identified cropmarks of a possible ring ditch. However, subsequent examination of these photographs along with more recent aerial photography has determined that these are most likely of natural origin.

July 2022. Aerial imagery interpretation.
Examination of more recent aerial photography (S3) (S4) reinforces the earlier observation that the cropmarks visible in this area are likely of geological rather than archaeological origin.
