Summary

A number of undated enclosures are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. In 1978 two pieces of Roman pottery were found during road construction work in this area.

Several subrectangular enclosures adjacent to north boundary of field, and irregular round mark against road northeast of Ryston Vicarage.

Norfolk Archaeological Research Group informant reports two Roman coarse sherds found, but no trace of cropmarks in side of cutting.
