Full Description
Saw pit (Ordnance Survey).
Visited E. Rose (NAU), 22 June 1978.
This part of the wood has been replanted with close set young pines, and the pit presumably destroyed or buried.
July 2001. Woodland Earthwork Rapid Identification Survey.
Princes Covert. Management Unit B, Site 16:
No convincing surface evidence although some slight irregularities exist.
