Summary
Thirteen undated human skeletons were found during the building of the railway at Taverham Road Bridge. It has been suggested that the people represented by the skeletons may have died during the battle that the nearby placename 'Blood Dale' could refer to.

Thirteen human skeletons found. At the time of discovery they were connected with the legend of the battle mentioned in NHER 12405.
