Summary

This is possibly the original site of Horsham St Faith priory (NHER 8005). The priory was founded around 1105 and it moved to its present site shortly afterwards. The site is recorded as being one mile west of the present site but the exact location is unclear.

Original site of Horsham St Faith priory before AD 1105. Ordnance Survey say site was 1 mile west of present one, but exact location not known. (S1) does not have such a name.

Priory founded here around 1105 and moved to Horsham St Faith soon.
