Summary

Four Roman coins were found on the surface here in 1978. Subsequent metal detecting in 1985 recovered a further Roman coin.

Four copper alloy coins of Constans (337-346). Obverse CONSTANS PF AVG. Reverse VICTORIAE DD AUGG Q NN, two facing victories.
Identified by British Museum, Department of Coins and Medals. Not seen by NCM.

1985. Metal detecting.
Republican silver denarius. C VIBIVS Crawford 342/3, 90 BC.
