27 June 1980. Found in spoil from contractor's trench on airfield nuclear site.
Body sherd of flint gritted dark grey ware with reddish exterior, rusticated decoration. Probably Early Bronze Age.
Body sherd, sandy, dark grey, Roman, probably late.
Identified by A. Gregory (NAU) and F. Healy (NAU).
Also found one body sherd of grey sandy ware, undatable.
A. Rogerson (NAU), 30 June 1980.
