Summary

This mid 19th century lime kiln is unusual. It only has one firing chute. There is no underground chamber. This is not a usual Norfolk type.

Unusual in that it has only one firing chute and is entirely open to the elements. No underground chamber. Something similar seen in Lincolnshire.
