Full Description
Pillbox.
Polygonal, concrete.
Original information from Pillbox Survey.
Accurately located by E. Rose (NAU) 4 February 1981.
See record form in file by source [1], who adds:
Common type 22 pillbox facing east. Most brick shuttering stripped.
Dated 1940.
Survey No. H1-16.

An extant World War Two hexagonal pillbox is visible on aerial photographs (S2 to 5). Its grid reference has been amended from TG 3411 3410 to TG 3411 3409. This pillbox is not present on aerial photographs dating from 16 August 1940 (S5), but had been constructed by 16 July 1941 (S2).
