Pill box. Opposite Bacton Wood Mill.
Unusual half-oval shape with rounded side to road by bridge. Concrete blocks.

An extant World War One pillbox is visible on aerial photographs (S2). The grid reference for this pillbox has been corrected from TG300306 to TG30013062.

Is this the “polygonal pillbox disguised as a barn” mentioned in NIAS records, without any other details, for Spa Common? No other such site is known there.
