Summary

In 1983 five sherds were recovered from a topsoil deposit visible in the side of a ditch. The finder spotted these whilst pushing children on swings!

Found when pushing children on swing in restricted area of newly cut but almost totally weed covered dyke along former hedge line. All within topsoil over gravel subsoil.
