Full Description
1982. On hillslope running down to west. On surface of ploughed field. Scattered over area 300m north to south by 150m east to west.
Iron slag, Roman pottery and tiles, and a few sherds of Ipswich ware.
Note finds not seen NAU or NCM, but Ipswich ware said to have been identified by member of the public [1].

Before 4 February 2005. Metal detecting.
3 Roman coins (including two pierced examples that are perhaps Early Saxon pendants) and 1 silver P-shaped or Crossbow brooch fragment.
1 Early Saxon ?silver finger ring and 1 ?belt mount, both with chip-carved Style I decoration.
Coins identified by A. Marsden (NLA) and other objects by A. Rogerson (NLA).

The Early Saxon finger ring was declared Treasure on 4 November 2005 and subsequently acquired by Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2006.587).
